Chris J and Chris P Have the Same First Name

Chris J and Chris P have the same first name. It’s weird because they’re both sophomores and they’re both in my geometry class. It used to be confusing but if you say “Chris J” or “Chris P” instead of just “Chris”, it’s a lot easier. Chris J is kind of quiet and weird but Chris P is cool and I smoked a bowl with him at Maddie’s party. The other really weird thing about it is that their first names aren’t even spelled different, like one with a K or something, it’s just both the normal Chris with a C. It definitely is hard sometimes because if you just say “Chris” then one Chris might think you are talking about him when really you meant the other Chris, but it’s not as complicated since we’ve started putting their last initials in front of the Chris.

In this one it’s like they’re laughing at how many people they’ve managed to confuse with their first names, which are the same.

Here is the other weird part: My older brother Joel told me that when he was a sophomore at Towson, there were two kids in his geometry class named Ryan.

In my journalism class you can basically do anything you want so I wrote this poem about the two Chris's.

your mouths and moons

a mystery

unearthed, unheard of, unbound
