Digimon WOAH Mobile Game a Flop

Unsurprisingly, the immensely mis-timed mobile phone app entitled “Digimon WOAH” is already scheduled to be taken off the app store due to next-to-nothing interest levels. All 43 Digimon fans are dumbfounded at what they find to be horrific news.
Local obscurity Johnny Medfield spoke of the situation: “I got the app and immediately went on my way to catch and raise my very own Digimon, but 30 minutes into my search my game crashed. When I tried to turn it back on, all I got was a screen that said, ‘Servers are down due to inactivity. Don’t Come Back.’ Needless to say I was heartbroken!”
Poor scrubs like Johnny and the 42 other Digi-fanatics could very well have the “Pokemon GO” app to blame for the flop of Digimon WOAH. Released 3 days earlier, the said app proved to have superior mechanics, servers and graphics compared to the Digimon counterpart (or so we speculate. Nobody at the bettertowsontalisman actually played Digimon WOAH.)
Luckily, like the vastly more successful Pokemon app, Digimon WOAH was free of charge so the only thing those who downloaded are losing is the game itself. On the bright side, they can think of how much time they won’t be wasting on a mobile video game while playing Pokemon GO like everyone else.
Turn those frowns upside down, you somber Digimon people. You all, however many that may be, have many great past titles to catch all those well-known Digimon everyone loves, like that dragon-looking orange guy or the cat-type thing.
At least for now, Digimon game producers will have to live with the multimillion debt-monkeys on their backs due to one of the worst flops the mobile game industry has ever witnessed. But on the bright side, Digi-enthusiasts can look forward to an increased interest in the franchise among the hipster population due to Pokemon becoming “mainstream” again.
As said many times before, Digimon is down but not out! ©
